Direct Support Staff-Third Shift
Direct Support Staff help residents build a home environment that offers a base for their participation in community life by focusing efforts on comfort, privacy, safety, and informed choices. Must treat people with respect and identify and resolve needs. Third shift duties may include- housekeeping, cooking, ordering of medication, personal care, and transportation. Excellent benefit package provided for schedules of 30 hours or more.
We have openings in Woonsocket and North Smithfield.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver's license
- the ability to be insured by the Chapter's insurance company
- must pass a criminal records check (BCI).
- excellent communication and people skills

Direct Support Staff - Float
As a Direct Support Staff, you will help individuals with disabilities to build a home environment that offers a base for their participation in community life by focusing efforts on comfort, privacy, safety, and informed choices in all areas of life.
- help to promote communication, family relationships, friendships, health, recreation, and entertainment.
- treat people with respect, support individual's choices, and promote a positive environment.
- supports people to take charge of their home and finances, ensures proper administration of medication and treatments.
- participate in extensive training program and attend staff meetings.
This position is trained in and works in four community residences to fill in open hours. This position is guaranteed 40 hrs per week.

Community Support Specialist - Independent Living
Full-time and Part-time flexible positions available
THIS POSITION WORKS IN THE WOONSOCKET AREA.
- Provide direct support to adults with developmental disabilities living independently in the community.
- Work one on one with individuals to accomplish chosen goals for living independently, such as, budgeting, household maintenance, menu planning, medical appointments.
We are looking for experienced staff who are patient and can work with minimal supervision. Staff are required to use their own vehicles.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school diploma and two (2) year's experience working with people with developmental disabilities and mental illness in an independent living setting, a valid driver's license, must be insurable by our agency insurance company and pass a criminal records check (BCI). Must have use of reliable, insured vehicle.
HOURLY: $9.5 - 11.68
SALARY COMMENTS: Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits offered for full time and part time employees.

In our Residential Program the basic schedules vary from group home to group home, but in general, are as follows:
Direct Support Staff
- Awake Overnight shifts vary from group home to group home but, generally are scheduled from 11 p.m-9 a.m.
- Full or part-time: Usually second shift during the week and weekend hours.
- On-Call positions: Usually evenings, weekends and holidays.
No experience necessary, excellent training provided.
- Home Manager-40 hours Monday-Friday, 2-3 years experience in the field and supervisory skills required.
- Assistant Home Manager-40 hours Tuesday-Saturday, 2-3 years experience in the field. Some supervisory skills preferred.
Our Day Program offers a variety of facility based, as well as community based vocational opportunities. The basic schedules for all Day Program sites are as follows:
Skills Instructors/Job Coaches- Excellent training provided. Full-time, Monday-Friday, day hours, no experience necessary.
Our Independent Living Services operates a semi-independent apartment program. This program provides services to individuals living in their own apartments who not require 24 hour supervised care. The basic schedules for Independent Living Services are:
- Community Support Specialists
- Part-time, 4-10 flexible hours weekly
- All positions require that Staff use their own vehicle
