Residential Services

The Arc of Northern Rhode Island offers a variety of residential options to people with developmental disabilities and their families based on individual needs.

Residents and staff at one of our group homes (8254 bytes) Consistent with the agency's philosophy, all residential options are devoted to enhancing the lives of the people we serve, as well as their families through support and advocacy. We provide individualized services that enable people to lead enjoyable and productive lives as members of their communities.

Residential Services: The Residential Services Division provides 24 hour supports for individuals of varied backgrounds and abilities. The division presently operates 17 homes and it is our philosophy to support those who choose to live together and to provide opportunities for them to do so safely and happily.

Family Living Arrangements: This program facilitates the matching of individuals who desire to live in a family environment with people who are interested in sharing their home or family.

Other Residential Options/Services: The Arc of Northern Rhode Island may also be able to assist interested parties with such residential options as foster placements, in-house support, home ownership opportunities, or a Semi-Independent Apartment Program.
